Cranston Mayor Allan Fung picked up his fifth endorsement last night in Woonsocket.
“The Woonsocket Republican City Committee proudly endorses Mayor Allan Fung for Governor. Too many regular, tax paying citizens have been hurt by the incompetence of the Raimondo administration. Rhode Islanders deserve better and the members of our committee believe Mayor Fung’s proven track record of balancing budgets, cutting deficits, and fiscal responsibility is the leadership RI needs,” said WRCC Chairwoman Martha Tetreault.
“Allan is the only Republican that can win the governorship in November and we look forward to seeing his vision, ability, honesty, and integrity work to bring businesses, jobs, and prosperity to our beautiful Ocean State. We can do better. And with Allan Fung as our governor, we will all do better.”
Thus far, 5 City or Town GOP Committees–Woonsocket, Cranston, Warwick, Lincoln and North Kingstown–have endorsed Fung.
“I greatly appreciate the faith the Woonsocket Republican City Committee has placed in me. Rhode Island has endured four years of incompetent leadership, and it is time we elect a proven leader who knows how to attract businesses and jobs without giving away the store” said Fung.
