On Tuesday, May 15, 2018, Hope High Dollars for Scholars® (HHDfS), an affiliate of Scholarship America, will host its Fifth Annual Awards Dinner at the Shriners Imperial Room, One Rhodes Place, Cranston, RI.

Twelve Hope seniors will share in scholarships totaling more than $50,000. Most of these scholarships are renewable for four years, supporting college completion. (Since 2012, HHDfS has awarded $152,000 in scholarships to 54 Hope High Scholars.)

Providence Municipal Chief Judge Frank Caprio will be the dinner’s keynote speaker.  While attending law school in the mid-sixties, Judge Caprio was a Hope High School civics teacher. He’s fondly remembered by many HHDfS Board members and donors.

“Winning a scholarship creates a special kind of magic. The financial benefit is obvious — and greatly appreciated. The magic comes in the form of honoring a scholar’s accomplishments. Sending a scholar to college with confidence is truly magical.”  Jane Rosenbloom Bermont, Founder & President, HHDfS

About HHDfS: HHDfS a non-profit, tax exempt affiliate of Scholarship America, served by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. Its mission is to expand access to educational opportunities for Hope students by supporting college readiness programs and providing scholarships.
