The Rhode Island Judiciary announced an art exhibit that will open on Saturday, April
21, 2018 and run through September 15, 2018.
The exhibit, showcasing four local artists, will be at the J. Howard McGrath Judicial Complex (Washington County Courthouse), located behind the Department of Motor Vehicles on Route 1 in Wakefield. The collection offers a wide variety of styles including oil painting, seascapes, silk screen and painting with acrylics.
The exhibition will feature the work of four artists: Christa Stricklin, Jon-Michael Baribault,
Jeremy Schilling and Erin Spencer.
The opening reception, on April 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., will be attended by all of the artists.
The exhibit will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The exhibit is part of the series “Art in the Courthouse,” which appears annually in the McGrath Judicial Complex.
